Beautiful place to hike and search geo caches. They have grills and bathrooms ( the bathrooms smell really bad but they do have bathrooms.) The grills are accompanied by picnic tables and shade. There is a creek that runs through the property. This is a dog friendly park so disregard the reviews that say other wise. You will see a big sign close to the bathrooms that says ( This is a dog friendly park).
Fantastic place to take the family. There miles and miles of trails to walk through, especially with the new bridge connecting to Carlton Reserve. You can even walk all the way to Myakka State Park area. It is animal friendly, including horses. I would say the only downfall would be having to look out for horse droppings, but that's minor in my opinion as it's not often we come across it. Wide open places to play ball or games, and there is a large bonfire place as well. My family loves it here.
Very rural with bridges, watch out for road apples. Nice walking paths
NO dogs allowed. Could have been clearly posted on this listing before we made the detour.
Beautiful park. We'll kept trails. Saw lots of birds and a gator.
