This was my first time there with my son who is autistic. As a mom, I saw that it was constructed safe enough even for special needs. My son loved the water. Good therapy for him and other children.
What a great park. Designed for young children, with a water park and nice modern play area. It has a chalk wall where the kids can bring chalk and draw....a cool idea.

Great splash pad! Two bits of advice: bring your own folding chairs to park yourself in the shade. The benches are only in the shade in the early morning hours, then as the sun moves there's no shade over the benches. Second thing, I would avoid letting your kids play in the area if there is a baseball game going on. Last time a foul ball flew into the splash pad and bounced off HARD. Luckily it didn't hit any off the kids, but if it did, it would definitely hurt and most likely would have to make a trip to the ER. I shudder to think if that ball had hit one of the little babies sitting on the ground, much less my own kid! Otherwise, it's a great spot!
