Very scary reviews! Why is this not being investigated???
I spent a year at this school in 2005 after Hurricane Charley hit Punta Gorda. The school was overcrowded and the staff couldn't control the students. From what I've heard from people with children there, nothing has changed.
Had a horrible 3 years going here. I saw no skilled teaching. Teachers were on their cell phones whilst students were taking tests, teachers didn't care about the noise level in classrooms which made it hard to focus, Told other teachers I didn't even had about my focusing problems with ADD (which I should've sewed the school and teachers for that) Absolutely horrible school to bring your child to, if you want better schooling go online or to Imagine.
It's a great way to spend your three years in middle school, but sometimes there are troublemakers about and they'll try to ruin their day. It's not a bad school, but there are some kinks to be worked out with disciplinary manners and other things. And yes, Gavin Cabliero, who ever heard of negative stars?
There are at least 2 fights per day and I have been offered drugs several times I swear to god this school is like hell the guidance counselers make things worse and everyone at the school is a bully and the teachers allow it all the teachers and staff are complete air heads and only care when they want to and there is so much violence its scary you never know when some one could potentially start a fight with you for no reason or do something to make you feel bad I thought school was supposed to make you feel safe I think I'd feel safer in a dark alley at 12 am surrounded by killers
