Eddie and his team put in four long hot days redoing a dangerous side yard that was unsafe to walk on due to erosion and no grass. The guys hauled in railroad ties, 21 yards of fill, 10 of top soil and three pallets of sod. They also tore apart a poorly designed wood deck in the back yard that slanted in two directions, again an unsafe walking surface.
Eddie will be my 'go to' guy from now on for those big outdoor projects that are too tough for me to tackle alone. Next up is repairing the privacy fence and trimming the big oaks and pines.
Since the side yard only gets an hour or two of sunlight, I have a solid backdrop for creating a new shade garden under the oak trees. The sunny backyard has a lush green lawn where the deck used to be.
